Pulsar to Debut Thermal Riflescope at SHOT Show 2015

(MANSFIELD, TEXAS) – Debuting at SHOT 2015, Pulsar’s Apex™ 1.5-6×32 XD38A Thermal Riflescope is engineered with cutting-edge “white hot” and “black hot” thermal technology. Designed with a thermal core resolution of 384×288, LCD display and a 50hz frame rate, the Apex™ 1.5-6×32 XD38A offers vivid imaging and precision placement at more than 1,000 yards. The continuous digital zoom allows for an extended range of magnification.

Built for dependability, the internal dampening system keeps the thermal core stable up to 1,000Gs of recoil, equivalent to a .375 H&H bolt-action rifle. Its picture-in-picture digital zoom displays a magnified picture of the reticle’s aiming point at the top of the screen.

The riflescope’s one-shot zeroing and freeze function takes an image of the target to quickly zero the crosshairs to the firearm’s point of impact. The device includes 3 operating modes for enhanced contrast, and three calibration modes.
