Senator reintroduces gun bill

Sen. Mike Green, R-Mayville, is reintroducing a bill that would end county gun boards  responsible for issuing concealed pistol licenses or CPLs.  Those responsibilities would instead be handled by county clerks and the Michigan State Police, who would be put in charge of background checks.

“We took out the language referencing the PPO references and basically the whole bill is identical to the one he vetoed, except for the PPO issue,” Green said.  Sketchy details here…
