The Howa Kryptek Cerakote rifle combines the best in dipped camouflage by using the proven Kryptek Highlander camo pattern on its Hogue Overmolded® stock and Nikko Stirling® Gameking™ scope with the added protection of Cerakote ceramic coating on the barrel, action and trigger guard/base plate in attractive and high blending Austrian Brown.
The Howa Kryptek Cerakote rifle package includes a Nikko Stirling Gameking 4-16x 44 riflescope dipped in Kryptek Highlander camo, Austrian Brown Cerakote finish on the barreled action, Kryptek Highlander camo on the Hogue Overmolded stock, Kryptek Highlander matching scope rings and one-piece base, forged, one-piece bolt with two locking lugs, M16 style extractor, two-stage match grade H.A.C.T.™ trigger, three position safety and drawn barrel. A drawn barrel is proven to hold accuracy better than an extruded barrel because stress is evenly applied during the forming process.
Available in short action calibers that accept our Ammo Boost detachable magazine conversion kits, long action and magnum calibers (Ammo Boost detachable magazine kits will be available for these calibers later in the year). Barrels are available in #1 contour (lightweight), #2 Contour (standard hunting) and #6 Contour (heavy target) barrels. Length of pull on all models is 13.87 inches while OAL varies from 40.25 inches to 46.5 inches, depending on barrel contour and caliber. MSRP’s range from $956.00 to $1,000.00 again depending upon caliber and barrel configuration.
