Steiner Introduces Laser Rangefinding Binocular

GREELEY, Colo. — For 2016, Steiner has developed the M830r Laser Rangefinder 1535nm, the only mil-spec, porro prism binocular plus laser rangefinder on the market. This compact, powerful rangefinder is suited for all military services and tactical units, and is ideal for troops who travel light. It’s the perfect combination of a premium Steiner binocular with a powerful class-1, eye-safe laser for determining range to targets, plus a SUMR reticle for targeting redundancy in case of battery failure, for measuring sizes and distances of objects, and for out-of-range targeting.

The M830r LRF 1535nm provides fast ranging accuracy from 25 to 6,000 meters. The IR beam emitted from the rangefinder is a wavelength (1535nm) that cannot be seen by night vision goggles, making detection by the enemy nearly impossible.

The lenses and prisms are combined with state-of-the-art coatings to provide bright, crisp images at any range. Scan Mode is available to handle moving targets, and ranges can be set to meters or yards.

Features of the M830r LRF 1535nm include:
Magnification: 8x
Weight: 1.9 lbs
Width 17.02 cm
Height: 12.07 cm
Waterproof and fogproof
Item No. 2626
Ranging up to 6,000 meters

The M830r LRF 1535nm is available for sale to law enforcement and military personnel only. For more information about Steiner products, visit www.steiner-defense.com.
