Christensen Arms Releases New Aluminum Frame 1911


Gunnison, Utah – January, 16,2017Christensen Arms strives to craft the finest 1911 handguns ever produced, and the new A4 (4 inch barrel) and A5 (5 inch barrel) aluminum-framed 1911s are no exception. Currently available in 9MM, each A4 and A5 frame is machined from lightweight 7075 billet aluminum and assembled using only premium components, including a tunable match-grade trigger. They feature a newly designed flat-top, billet stainless steel slide that is hand fit to guarantee a perfectly smooth and highly accurate handgun – a 5-shot, 2 inch group at 25 yards. Weighing in at roughly 2 lbs, the new A4 is the lightest 1911 produced by Christensen Arms.
