Browning Adds New BXV Predator & Varmint Loads

Arnold, Mo. – Predator hunting is among the fastest growing segments in hunting today and for this growing legion of hunters, Browning Ammunition will offer a line of predator and varmint loads starting in 2017. Browning Ammunition’s new BXV Predator & Varmint will be initially offered in four of the most popular varmint rifle calibers today.

New offerings include:

    • .22 Hornet 35-gr. 3100 fps
    • .223 Rem. 50-gr. 3400 fps
    • .22-250 50-gr. 3800 fps
    • .243 Win. 65-gr. 3400 fps

Each round of BXV Predator & Varmint features a nickel-plated shellcase and polymer-tipped bullet designed for a flat trajectory and rapid expansion upon impact on predators such as coyotes and varmints like prairie dogs. They will be available in boxes of 20 rounds.
