The gun grabbers at the Brady Campaign have downplayed and even attempted to distort just how many guns are being sold in the past few years.  In fact, things are so bad, Ruger must suspend new orders – not because business is bad; it’s simply too good!

SOUTHPORT, CT –Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc. (NYSE-RGR), announced today that for the first quarter 2012, the Company has received orders for more than one million units. Therefore, the Company has temporarily suspended the acceptance of new orders.

A Lesson in Gun Registration from Canada

Gun-control advocates like The Brady Campaign have forever claimed that registration is a safety issue; their reasoning is simple: If a gun has been left at a crime scene and it was registered to the person who committed the crime, the registry will link the crime gun to the criminal.  But, the criminals have proved to be smarter than the politicians and gun grabbers.

Despite spending $2.7 billion on creating and running a long-gun registry, Canadians never received any benefits from the liberal’s dream. The legislation to end the program finally passed the Parliament on Wednesday. Even though the country started registering long guns in 1998, the registry never solved a single murder.

Sig Sauer Looks to Expand Success in U.S. Operations

The world-wide firearm manufacturer has been adding employees over the past four years and expects the market to allow it to continue hiring. They need more room and have plenty of options.

The link has the success story never to be told by the media. It’s a lot more riveting to show lazy whiners protesting, because they are not given enough of what ever their self-serving interests demand.

Here, instead, we have Americans prospering in spite of what left-leaning gun grabbers have wrought upon their industry in the way of burdensome regulations. And, I must add that Sig’s firearms are legendary and it is the free market that recognizes its quality.
