A clearly evident aspect of the Italian Uberti 1873 milestone edition's appearance over 'the real deal' -- Winchester's -- that is Winchester's by Miroku -- is the look of the wood. Uberti's type of wood and finish approximate 'Winchester red' more so than Miroku's that lean towards chocolate brown. Furthermore, the texture and grain of the wood looks artificial and is less 'pleasing-to-the-eye' than the Uberti editions.
IMO of course.
What's frustrating with both is that their 20" bbl model's cartridge capacity is 10 whereas 150 years back the guns were designed to hold a dozen rounds. How much of this reduction is to stave off anti-gunners' meddling / interference is anybody's guess, i.e., the often bandied about and cumbersome 10-round limit for handguns and rifles. Whoever has the DEFINITIVE, SOLID-PROOF answer / reason, well, please share!

Congratulations to all the new owners of this iconic specimen of America's illustrious western frontier. Its purchase is sure to be a highlight of your 2023! I'll close with a sentimental, optimistic conclusion: and sure to remain a keepsake for generations to come!

Brian,
You may try a seller on Gunbroker.com. I found some Uberti .357 rifles there, but not the anniversary model. I'd contact one of the sellers there. Good luck.
