Stratos Delivers Performance, Versatility and Affordability with New 386 XF

FLIPPIN, Ark. – Continuing its legacy of providing weekend anglers and water sports enthusiasts with versatile boats at an incredible value, Stratos Boats introduces a newly refined Stratos 386 XF. Delivering enough performance and fishing features for serious multispecies anglers, the newly updated 386 XF is also at home playing the role of family boat for weekends on the water.

“Families are always looking for ways to stretch their hard-earned dollars,” said Stratos Boats Sales Manager Jason Bragg. “The redesign of the 386 XF gives folks the best of both worlds. You can easily transition from fishing and trolling for big walleye into a day of watersports with the whole family. Without question, the new 386XF delivers ample versatility for whatever the day brings.”

Measuring 18 feet 6 inches, the Stratos 386 XF is rated for a maximum of 200 hp and available with a wide variety of factory-rigged outboards. Retaining the proven hull design and running surface of the original 386 XF to handle the roughest of waters, the all-composite construction and fiberglass stringers deliver support and stability to spare. Hydraulic steering and a flush-mounted remote throttle control provide responsive handling and performance. The battery compartment and fuel tank are located in line with the keel, resulting in a smooth, balanced ride.

For the serious multispecies angler, the boat features a recirculating, aerated livewell and baitwell with automatic timers and a 24-volt Minn Kota® Power Drive trolling motor. A bow panel with switches allows for flush mounted electronics and the remote control of several key boat functions. The 386 XF also comes standard with a Lowrance Mark 5X Pro Fishfinder at the helm, which can easily accommodate large screen units up to 12 inches, as well as a 12-volt DC receptacle for powering accessories.

The all-new interior offers multitudes of storage possibilities. A center recessed rod and ski locker will fit rods up to 7 feet 6 inches, while the port side gunnel will fit rods up to 8 feet in length. Other storage options include two front deck compartments; two rear jump seats with storage underneath, along with port and starboard sidewall compartments.

When it’s time to stow the rods, the 386 XF’s additional features create a family boat ideal for water leisure. Snap-in carpet eases the transition while three custom-fitted, fold-down pedestal seats and two rear jump seats give plenty of room for the entire family. The spacious interior is further highlighted by an integrated cooler and plush bow cushions as well as an available fourth fold-down pedestal seat and Bluetooth stereo system.

Holding itself to a higher standard of quality and safety, the Stratos 386 XF has been certified by the N.M.M.A. and has an inside depth of 25 inches. Additional standard safety features include a fire extinguisher, horn, recessed tie cleats, upright level floatation and a stainless steel fold-down boarding ladder that permits easy access to the boat from the water.

Each Stratos 386 XF is paired with a custom-built, single-axle trailer with brakes. Designed specifically for each boat, the Stratos trailers are equipped with a super-tough Road Armor Equipped® protective finish, submersible LED lights and 15-inch Aluminum wheels. The trailers also feature swing jacks that retract flush to the frame and locking, swing-away tongues.
