SCI’s Arguments Win Minnesota Wolf Case

Washington, D.C. – Based on arguments presented by Safari Club International (SCI) the Minnesota Court of Appeals has dismissed a legal challenge to Minnesota’s wolf harvest. The Court ruled that the Center for Biological Diversity (CBD) and Howling for Wolves failed to show their members were harmed by the process used by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to establish the state’s wolf season. American Indian Tribes Opposed to Wisconsin Wolf Hunting

The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Game Commission, which represents 11 tribes of the Ojibwe (also known as the Chippewa, or Anishinaabe) in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan, opposes the hunting of wolves because of religious beliefs and tradition.

They are taught that Ma’iingan (wolf) is a brother to Original man. The rub is here…

Minnesota DNR Saves Two Whitetail Bucks from Death

Minnesota wildlife officials saved two whitetail bucks recently but it’s how they did it that’s interesting. There was no way to hog tie them and saw the antlers off, so they shot them – at least their antlers. Their actions are explained here…
