Camp Chef Celebrates Twenty-Five Years

HYDE PARK, Utah – What started as an opportunity to improve campsite cooking more than two decades ago, Camp Chef is now an industry leading manufacturer of outdoor cooking equipment. Today Camp Chef celebrates 25 years of quality outdoor cooking and would like to thank each customer for its success.

In 1990 founder and current president of the company, Ty Measom, saw the challenges he and many other outdoorsmen faced when cooking in the campsite. He quickly created what is now the Pro-60 stove by Camp Chef; a stove that is portable, powerful and versatile enough to stand the tests of time.
