The radio has 15 high and low power GMRS channels and 142 privacy codes to block other conversations. It also has a channel scan in order to monitor activity as well as a silent operation mode when you don’t need to hear beeps and other tones. A number of other upscale features round out the MX100 MICROMOBILE GMRS 2-Way Radio including a high-grade microphone, an external speaker jack, a 12V car power adaptor, and a high contrast, backlit LCD screen making it easy to read, even in daylight.
No need to find a place to fit this radio. Measuring a mere 0.9 inches x 4.01 inches x 3.44 inches, the device is barely wider than a credit card. Another bonus, the radio is a scant 6 ounces, making mounting the radio a snap. It also features a flip-frame detachable mount allowing for installation on or under the dash, and has a slide-out feature where you can take the radio in and out from the stationary mounted bracket.
