Leupold® Mount Systems App Now Available for iPhone
BEAVERTON, Ore. — Leupold & Stevens, Inc., now offers its Mount Systems app for iPhone users, making it even easier for hunters and shooters to quickly and easily find the rings and bases that are right for their firearms.
The same intuitive interface as found on the iPad version starts with users selecting their brand of firearm, then they can narrow their options down further by choosing their specific model. Once a model is selected, the user selects the type of riflescope they are trying to mount. Optics can be selected by Leupold® model, or by maintube and objective bell diameter.
“Leupold is committed to providing American-made mount systems built as rugged as our optics,” said Pete Moe, product line manager – mounts. “Part of this promise includes providing tools like the Mount Systems app to help hunters and shooters find the right solution for their needs.”
Depending on the riflescope selected and the options available for specific firearms, users may be asked a few other questions, such as finish type, ring height, or whether or not they require adjustable bases. After these quick and easy questions are answered, the user is presented with the correct mounting solution, including images of the packaging, making it easy to find the right products in the store.
“We manufacture mounts for such a wide variety of firearms, we felt it was important to help the end user quickly and easily find the right set up,” said Shane Meisel, trade marketing manager. “With an ever-growing segment of hunters and shooters using mobile devices, it made all the sense in the world to offer an iPhone and iPad version of our online Mount Systems tool.”
Covering 386 firearms from 54 manufacturers, the Leupold Mount Systems app has 40,955 mounting options, making it a great tool for anyone needing to mount an optic on a firearm. The Mount Systems app works on iPad and iPhone, and is available now for free from the iTunes App Store. For those without an iPad or iPhone, the mount finder is also available on the Leupold website.
