As an infantry officer with extensive weapons training, Lohman competed with the M14 rifle and the M1911A pistol and ran one of the Marine Corps Sniper Schools. Lohman is an NRA-certified training counselor who has taught nearly 3,000 students in handgun safety and personal protection in the home.
