MELBOURNE, FL — EOTECH, a division of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX), has added the versatile 1–8x24mm Second Focal Plane (SFP) configuration to its award-winning lineup of rugged precision Vudu riflescopes.

“With the introduction of Vudu riflescopes in 2017, the precision shooting community was quick to recognize the high level of engineering, premium components, and exceptional build quality that go into every scope in the line,” said Jeff Stawiarski, Vice President Sales & Marketing at EOTECH. “We’re thrilled to bring passionate precision shooters yet another rugged, feature-packed offering.”

The 1–8x24mm SFP will find favor with competition shooters and tactical shooters alike, and joins a Vudu lineup that includes five existing configurations: 1–6x24mm FFP; 2.5–10x44mm FFP; 3.5–18x50mm FFP and SFP; 8–32x50mm SFP; and the compact, 11.2-inch 5–25x50mm FFP.

Like other Vudu scopes, the 1–8×24 SFP features a one-piece, aircraft-grade aluminum 30mm tube for exceptional strength and durability; clear and bright, fully multi-coated XC High-Density glass with extraordinary resolution, color fidelity, and low-light performance; surgically precise turrets; and intuitive push-button reticle illumination controls. The HC3 quad-level ballistic drop compensating reticle features a precise 0.5-minute of angle, daylight-visible illuminated center dot and 2-, 5-, 8.5-, and 12.5-MOA subtensions on the vertical axis (at 8x power). The scope’s field of view at 100 yards is 105.8 feet at 1x and 13.2 feet at 8x.

The 1–8×24 SFP has true 1x magnification at its lowest setting. It measures just 10.6 inches in length and weighs a mere 21.3 ounces, making it shorter and lighter than most other scopes in this configuration. The 1–8×24 SFP will be available in early 2020 with an MSRP of $1,399 and is on display at SHOT Show, January 21–24.
