Browning Camping Introduces the Talon 1 Backcountry Tent
NEW HAVEN, Mo. – Browning Camping, a premium brand, has released a new backcountry tent for 2022 called the Talon 1. This no-fly tent was developed for the backcountry adventurer who requires a lightweight shelter that sets up quickly and is suitable for diverse wilderness environments.
The Talon 1 is built on an 82×43-inch floor plan to accommodate one person plus gear. The poly oxford floor comes with 1500mm coating for protection and an optional oxford footprint is available for added security when camping on abrasive surfaces. The tent walls are constructed of weatherproof poly-cotton fabric, eliminating the need for a rainfly.
Supported by a freestanding external pole system consisting of 7000-series aluminum poles and hubs, the Talon 1 boasts a full-length mesh door for easy ingress/egress. The combination mesh door and interior mesh vent offers ample ventilation for warm-weather camping and reduces moisture buildup. Incorporated into the door flap are three grommets that, when supported by adjustable trekking poles or other suitable support, can serve as a guy-out awning that is perfect for preparing meals from the comfort and shelter of the tent.
Additional features of the Browning Talon 1 include steel stakes, reflective guy ropes, and an interior utility hook for hanging a light.
