InfiRay Outdoor Announces New RH25V2 and RL25V2 Multi-function Thermal Optic
iRayUSA, the United States distributor of InfiRay Outdoor thermal optics, is excited to announce the second generation of the RICO MICRO Multi-function Thermal Optic, available in 640 or 384 resolution models.
The in its newest variation, the RICO (Rugged Infrared Compact Optic) MICRO, our most popular family of thermal optics has been updated to provide users with powerful enhancements while retaining the versatility that our customers love; use it as a handheld scanner, helmet-mounted monocular, weapon sight, or thermal clip-on. New models feature a machined magnesium alloy housing to reduce weight. An added USB-C port now allows for simplified file transfer and the ability to power the MICRO from an external battery pack. The internal video recorder now includes crisp audio and 64 GB of internal storage. An improved 1440×1080 AMOLED display and is paired with a new eyepiece that offers more comfortable viewing and clip-on compatibility for optics up to up to 6× magnification. The MICRO V2 also uses InfiRay’s latest 12 µm sensor, an improved NETD rating of ?18mK, and a manual-focus f/1.0 objective lens to create an image that is unlike anything in its class. “We’re excited to announce the new V2 models of the MICRO – evolving a platform our customers trust and love with new features that improve image quality and user experience,” said Pliny Gale, iRayUSA Marketing & Communications Manager. “The new RL25V2 can now be used as a clip-on thermal – a highly requested feature that was only available in the 640 model in the first generation.”
The RICO MICRO 640×512 25mm (RH25V2) will retail for $4,999 and the 384×288 version (RL25V2) will retail for $2,999.
