ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – SK Guns®, the Nation’s only series-driven, limited-edition manufacturer of custom firearms, is proud to relaunch “Pancho Villa,” now in stainless steel. Originally introduced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Mexican revolutionary general Francisco “Pancho” Villa’s passing, this production honors the legacy of a figure who forced President Porfirio Diaz out of power, leading to the presidency of Francisco I. Madero in 1911.
“Pancho Villa was the first pistol in the ‘La Revolución’ series, and we’re proud to reintroduce it in stainless steel,” said Simon Khiabani, owner and founder of SK Guns. “This limited-edition, collectible firearm honors the Mexican Revolution, a pivotal historical event that lasted over 10 years.”
Limited to only 300 Full Size Government Model Colt 1911 pistols chambered in .38 Super, this “Pancho Villa” production in stainless steel revisits the “La Revolución” series. Each pistol features a special engraved edition number.
The left side of the firearm includes a depiction of the “Monument to the Revolution” in Mexico City. Intricate Cannas floral scroll with selective shading adorns the slide, complementing a dramatic illustration of Pancho Villa on horseback galloping into battle.
The left side of the slide is completed with a depiction of the general’s army, known as “División del Norte” (Division of the North), carrying a banner with Pancho Villa’s iconic phrase, “Fusílenlo, después averiguamos,” translated as “Shoot him, we’ll find out later.”
The right side of the slide features the coat of arms of the Free and Sovereign State of Durango emblem, along with the word “REVOLUCION.” Selective Cannas floral scroll with selective shading frames a right-profile design of Pancho Villa fearlessly galloping into battle. This side of the pistol is completed with the phrase, “El Centauro del Norte,” translated as “The Centaur of the North.”
An accentuated portrait of Pancho Villa with the engraving “1878-1923 Centenario,” commemorating the 100th anniversary of his passing, appears on the top of the slide. The top of the ejection port showcases Pancho Villa’s bandolier loaded with .30-30 caliber cartridges. The area in front of the rear sight depicts Mexico’s coat of arms used from 1899-1917.
The pistol is completed with a highly polished frame, slide, barrel and hardware, accented by selective 24k gold plating. Custom replica antique gold peso coin medallions embellish the new Antique Pearl Krinite grips.
