TenPoint Introduces Tactical XLT™
Mogadore, OH. New for 2013, TenPoint Crossbow’s Tactical XLT™ crossbow features their radically compact XLT™ (Xtreme Limb Technology) bow assembly and their newly designed aircraft grade, fluted aluminum barrel. Powerful and easy to maneuver, the new model is feature-packed for precision performance.
The XLT bow assembly measures a streamlined 13.5-inches from axle-to-axle when cocked, and the riser comes with a detachable, lightweight, coated aluminum foot stirrup. Its tactical black 11-inch IsoTaper Limbs™ are equipped with MRX™ cams and D-75 string and cables. With a 185-pound draw weight, the Tactical XLT shoots 352 feet-per-second with TenPoint’s Pro Lite carbon arrow.
The fluted barrel design reduces weight and improves strength and balance. Bedded in TenPoint’s rugged, clear-coated tactical-black stock, the combined bow and stock assemblies weigh in at 7.25 pounds.
“The Tactical XLT will be an attractive option for the growing tactical weapons crowd,” said TenPoint CEO Rick Bednar. “It features much of our top-level technology and delivers top-level performance.”
The Tactical XLT also features TenPoint’s patented DFI™ (dry-fire-inhibitor), highly regarded 3.5-pound patented PowerTouch™ trigger and patented GripSafety™.
Equipped with either TenPoint’s patented ACUdraw™ or ACUdraw 50™ cocking mechanism and the RangeMaster Pro™ variable speed and power scope, the Tactical XLT is sold only as a complete package that includes arrows, quiver, Side-Mount Quiver bracket, Bowjax limb and arrow retention spring dampeners, and TenPoint’s patented GripGuard.
Tactical XLT MAP: $1399 with ACUdraw, $1299 with ACUdraw 50.
