Krieghoff Gun of the Year 2023 ‘Buffalo Jump’

Each year Krieghoff selects an iconic theme for the Gun of the Year to be engraved by some of the best European Master Engravers. Krieghoff then reveals the year’s “Gun of the Year” at the IWA Outdoor Classic in Nuremberg Germany, and the results are always spectacular.

The Krieghoff Gun of the Year 2023 “Buffalo Jump” honors a Native American hunting tradition. Named after the cliffs that played a vital part in their hunting success, the K-80/S engraved by Creative Art features historic hunting scenes rendered in remarkable detail and grace.

Creative Art places you in the hunt so realistically you can feel the thundering of hooves and the adrenaline of the hunt. The receiver sides of the K-80/S portray the Native American braves driving the bison towards the “Buffalo Jump”. Each hunter displays their expert horsemanship as they charge on their mounts toward the gathering herd. Some ride reinless while releasing arrows and waving their bows to direct the herd to the cliffs. Caught up in the frenzy, one horse rears wildly, his skilled rider maintains focus and charges forward. A wizened Chief and young brave supervise the hunt across both the expanded side plates on each side of the receiver. Read more

The Kiger-9c Pro was developed with consumer feedback in mind. This pistol features the Kiger-9c Polymer Frame with an optimized beaver tail, aggressive texturing, undercut trigger guard and forward-underbarrel picatinny rail. The updates on the frame come in the form of enhanced controls, the Pro features an extended magazine and slide release.

The Kiger-9c Pro’s billet slide is manufactured from 416 stainless steel and is Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coated. Silencer Shop and ASA-F Fight to Restore Illinois’ Suppressor Rights

Silencer Shop and the American Suppressor Association Foundation (ASA-F) have teamed up to fight back against an unconstitutional ban on suppressors. Illinois has had a long-standing ban on the sale and possession of silencers, limiting law-abiding citizens’ second amendment right to bear arms and to protect the hearing of themselves and others. Illinois is one of only eight states with a silencer ban in place, but that may change soon thanks to the combined effort of Silencer Shop and the ASA-F.

After the groundbreaking New York State Rifle & Pistol Association, Inc. v. Bruen decision in 2022 asserted that the state must demonstrate that the ban is consistent with “the Nation’s historical tradition of firearm regulation.” other state gun laws are being examined through the same lens.
