First introduced in 2011 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Government Model 1911, the stainless Ruger® SR1911® has earned numerous awards as one of the best completely American-made 1911-type pistols.

The diamond anniversary edition of this iconic pistol will be produced in limited numbers and features an attractive, finely detailed, laser-engraved slide that commemorates Ruger’s 75th Anniversary and salutes our pride in American craftsmanship. The custom grip panels feature detailed scrollwork to match the engraved slide. Each pistol ships in a specially marked 75th Anniversary lockable case with one 7-round and one 8-round stainless steel magazine.

The SR1911 includes many desirable features such as a titanium firing pin, extended thumb safety, extended magazine release, oversized beavertail grip safety and a visual inspection port to allow visual confirmation of a round in the chamber. The plunger tube for both the slide stop and thumb safety is integral to the frame and will never shoot loose. The SR1911 uses a skeletonized hammer and an aluminum, skeletonized trigger with an adjustable over-travel stop.
