EAA Corp introduced at SHOT Show two new additions to the Witness2311 family: the CMX and CMXX compact series. Built around the 4.25″ barrel 1911 platform, known as the C or Commander model, these pistols offer an overall length of 8″ with a slimmer profile.

While the size makes them ideal for everyday carry, what really sets these new models apart from last year’s versions is the updated grip module and internal safety mechanism.

Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO, the M240B’s cold hammer-forged MIL-SPEC barrel has a hard-chromed bore for longer life, improved accuracy and maximum range of 3,725 meters. The receiver is machined steel and is equipped with a top-mounted MIL-STD-1913 optical rail. The crossbolt safety and curved trigger help enhance operator control.
