HK VP9-OR Pistol Recommended by NTOA

Heckler and Koch is pleased to announce the Members of National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA) have tested the HK VP9-OR pistol and given it a prestigious gold recommendation. This rating is part of NTOA’s Member Tested and Recommended program.

NTOA members tested and reviewed the VP9-OR, rating in 13 different categories, including Design, Performance, Ease of Use, Size, Quality, Durability, Storage, Versatility, Convenience, Application, Comfort, Accuracy, and Cleaning & Maintenance. To be recommended, products must score at least above average (3.0) in all categories. The VP9-OR far exceeded this threshold with a composite score of 4.7, earning a gold recommendation – the highest level possible.

The NTOA is a respected leader in the law enforcement community and these recommendations showcase the potential of a product’s usability for all end users, law enforcement or otherwise.

RICE LAKE, Wis. – Leading lever action firearms manufacturer Henry Repeating Arms is proud to announce that its latest Guns For Great Causes campaign raised $36,400 for the family of Danica Brianne Mulholland. After losing their 12-year-old daughter to a three-year battle with brain cancer, the Levittown, Pennsylvania family is receiving a check from the sale of 50 Henry Golden Boy lever action rifles to assist with any outstanding medical and funeral expenses.

Danica was undergoing treatment for a grade IV medulloblastoma when Henry Repeating Arms CEO and Founder Anthony Imperato jumped at the opportunity to assist the family through the company’s charitable branch, Guns for Great Causes. Henry Repeating Arms donated all the rifles, and Baron Engraving of Trumbull, Connecticut, donated their services to create the engraved artwork in tribute to Danica’s life. The “Danica Strong” edition rifles sold out within two hours of the initial release announcement, and auctions of the first and last serial numbers brought in an additional $4,000 total. CZ Varmint Precision Trainer Gets a Boost in Accuracy

Kansas City, KS (August 10, 2022) – For anyone looking to get serious about rimfire competition shooting without the costs of a full-on custom rifle, a new day has dawned. CZ-USA has released its match-grade MTR chamber and the extremely tight tolerances that come with it in one of the gunmaker’s most popular 22 LR bolt guns—the 457 Varmint Precision Trainer (VPT).

The MTR chamber has already proven itself in its namesake, CZ 457 Varmint MTR rifle, and has garnered an excellent reputation for accuracy. The MTR variant of the VPT allows shooters to buy an affordable, match-chambered rifle that’s ready to compete right out of the box. This eliminates the perceived need to upgrade any major components, putting this rifle a step above the competition.

The Precision Trainer series was designed to provide the same look and feel as a full-size tactical rifle while allowing for more economical training. Though the golden days of cheap and plentiful 22 LR ammo may be behind us, the Precision Trainer has become more popular than we ever could have imagined.
