The RAPIDE (Black Ice) is a great addition to Kimber’s powerhouse 1911 lineup. The RAPIDE (Black Ice) boasts performance enhancing features such as stepped cocking serrations, slide lightening cuts for faster lock time, striking two-tone KimPro finish and DLC coated barrel for extreme durability, flush fitting magwell, match grade trig-ger breaking crisply at 4-5lbs, as well as Tru-Glo TFX Pro Day Night Sights.

The new for 2020 RAPIDE (Black Ice) is equipped with Kimber StiplexTM front-strap stippling as well as black G10 grips for extra griping confidence and finished with KimPro II for additional resistance to chemicals, moisture, salt and UV light. The RAPIDE (Black Ice) will be shipping with one 8 round Tac Magazine.

All these are coupled with the standout features that can be found across the Kimber 1911 Custom Platform. One of the most important things to have when you’re trying to shoot at any significant distance is a comfortable, well-supported shooting platform. That’s where shooting bags come in.

One of the top shooting bag innovations in recent years is the pump pillow. In many popular competitions, like Precision Rifle Series or Precision Rimfire, competitors have found that filling gaps in their joints work to build a more solid shooting position. Pump pillows allow shooters to fill in these gaps and reduce strain. These innovative bags can be used as a buffer, or filler, between different parts of the body. This allows the shooters to keep their arms or legs positioned farther out than otherwise would be comfortable, and it facilitates shooting from odd positions.
