Geneseo, IL–ArmaLite is pleased to announce the addition of its Defensive Sporting Rifle™ Series to its extensive line of rifles. This series includes three different models to meet every shooter’s needs: Defensive Sporting Rifle™ 15, Defensive Sporting Rifle™ 15F, and Defensive Sporting Rifle™ 10.

Light weight and fast-handling, the Defensive Sporting Rifle™ 15 and 15F are chambered in 5.56×45 mm NATO and feature a 16-inch double-lapped, chrome-lined, chrome-moly vanadium MIL-B 11595 E barrel with M203 step down and 1/2×28 threads, while the Defensive Sporting Rifle™ 10 is chambered in 7.62×51 mm NATO and features a 16-inch double-lapped, melonite treated barrel with 5/8×24 threads. Bergara Teams Up With Realtree and NRA for Custom Gun Giveaway

Bergara Custom Rifles has teamed up with Realtree and the NRA to give away one of their Sport Hunter custom rifles. The rifle is finished in Realtree’s Max 1 camo pattern, and both Realtree and NRA are assisting Bergara in promoting the contest through social media.

The gun was built by Bergara’s lead gun builder, retired Marine Corp Master Sergeant Dan Hanus. Prior to joining Bergara, the 22 year veteran was stationed at Quantico, Virginia, where he served as the Production Chief & Chief Instructor for the Marine Corps Precision Weapons Section. NRA Ad Campaign Exposes the Real Michael Bloomberg

Michael Bloomberg is not having the success in burying the NRA that he expected when he announced his $50 million campaign against the Second Amendment and the formation of his gun control umbrella group, Everytown for Gun Safety.

As we reported last week, his investment in Milwaukee to defeat pro-gun Sheriff David Clarke failed in spite of the huge infusion of cash Bloomberg provided to promote Clarke’s anti-gun opponent. This defeat, on top of the recall of Colorado state senators last year, shows the inherent weakness of Bloomberg’s operation: it has no real grassroots support, just money and bluster.

To make things worse for the former mayor, NRA has launched a national effort aimed at exposing Michael Bloomberg’s anti-freedom agenda. The “Meet the Real Michael Bloomberg” advertising campaign kicked off this week with a television advertisement titled “Insult.”  “Insult” is the first in a series of ads that will highlight Bloomberg’s hypocrisy, arrogance and desire to control the lives of ordinary Americans.

Bloomberg said the largest county in Colorado is “as far rural as you can get. I don’t think there’s roads there.” That’s what he thinks of your state too.
