The Great Lakes Indian Fish and Game Commission, which represents 11 tribes of the Ojibwe (also known as the Chippewa, or Anishinaabe) in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Michigan, opposes the hunting of wolves because of religious beliefs and tradition.

It now appears that California Game Commission president Richards may not be ousted from the commission over a recent hunting controversy said Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg. While he hasn’t “closed all doors completely,” he has no plans to bring up a vote. But, the politicians are attempting to take some of his authority away with a recent vote. Three Florida men, including Mark Morse, the owner of The Villages, an exclusive retirement community, admitted to misdemeanor hunting violations Friday and were ordered to pay fines and restitution.
As part of a plea agreement, Montana Assistant Attorney General Barbara Harris filed the amended misdemeanor charge in place of two previously filed felony charges and a misdemeanor charge related to alleged illegal hunting on a ranch owned by Morse that straddles Yellowstone and Big Horn counties. Daniel Richards, president of the California Fish and Game Commission, legally shot a mountain lion in Northern Idaho. But, when his photo was posted in an outdoor publication, the animal rights whackos wanted his neck. Why? Because lion hunting in California is illegal.

On Feb. 1, eight charges were filed against David V Kent by Osage County Attorney Brandon Jones in the District Court of Osage County, Fourth Judicial District, including criminal discharge of a firearm, criminal hunting, illegally hunting with an artificial light, hunting outside of legal hours, illegal hunting during a closed season, using an illegal caliber for taking big game, illegal hunting from a vehicle, and hunting without a valid deer permit.
Kent then brought in a trophy buck’s antlers to the Monster Buck Classic in Topeka Kansas, claiming they were from a deer killed in the northeast part of the state. Guess who was happy to see him…here
