COLUMBIA, MO – FFast shipping and friendly service are two things Customers expect from MidwayUSA. Thanks to the new state of the art conveyor system, the Nitro Express, Customers can call or place their order online and pick up that order in our new Customer Order Pickup Area.
“Larry Potterfield had a vision to create a fantastic 20 to 30 minute museum to entertain our Customers when they pick up their order,” said Matt Fleming, President of MidwayUSA. “There are special guns to look at, pictures to view and videos to watch.”
Located in the Washington Building of the MidwayUSA campus, the Customer Order Pickup Area features three display cases of firearms pulled from the MidwayUSA gun vault. The display cases are full of guns such as Remington Rolling blocks, German Mausers and Classic American Double Barrel Shotguns. The firearms rotate out every couple of months so Customers can look forward to seeing new guns on future visits. In addition to admiring the guns, Customers can watch How-To videos featuring Larry Potterfield, and look at colorfully framed photographs of Larry’s hunts and behind the scenes pictures from inside MidwayUSA and the GunTec film studio.
“Back in ’77, it was just plain hard work and a passion for serving Customers that got us started,” said Larry Potterfield, Founder and CEO of MidwayUSA. “We still work very hard and have the same passion, but it takes a lot more than hard work and passion to satisfy Customers today. I think our Customers are going to love this new pickup area.”
