Daffodils Smile Through Cold

Daffodils survive March freeze

Above, daffodils are seen with a hunting shack, The Chalet, in the background.  After temperatures in the 20s last night, it appears little damage was done to early bloomers, although some were harmed.  Fortunately, in Shiawassee County, Michigan, our fruit trees have yet to blossom and appear to have survived so far.  However, plenty of time remains before we’re beyond the threat of frost.
