The Alaska Department of Fish and Game announced that there will be a two-week moose hunting season in Game Management Unit 26B in the Brooks Range starting on Monday and ending April 15th.
The annual harvest quota for all hunts in unit 26B is 14 bull moose and only four were harvested last fall under drawing permits. An additional 10 can be taken during this April general season.
