Rescued: Alaska man spent 7 nights outdoors, no food

“I’m alive,”  remarked David Ford in a telephone interview. “I’m extremely grateful. I’m no  hero. The heroes are the people that found me.  “I made a few small mistakes that led to big mistakes,” he said. “I spent seven  nights outside without any food. I was carrying one rod.
