TenPoint’s Carbon Elite XLT Wins Petersen’s Editor’s Choice

Mogadore, OH. TenPoint Crossbow Technologies®, an industry leader in crossbow technology and performance, has received Petersen’s Hunting’s 2012 Editor’s Choice award for their new Carbon Elite XLT crossbow. This is the first time Petersen’s Hunting magazine has conducted a comparative crossbow model evaluation and assigned an Editor’s Choice award.
Announced in the August issue of Petersen’s Hunting, the award was based on model-to-model comparisons between nine of the crossbow manufacturers new 2012 models. The editors evaluated the models on ergonomics, fit and finish, accuracy, ease of cocking, trigger performance, safety, value, and overall performance.
“As more crossbow seasons open, the competition grows,” said Rick Bednar, TenPoint’s CEO. “We are proud that we continue to receive honors like this while the industry welcomes talented new players into the marketplace. We remain focused on our mission to be the industry standard for safety, precision engineering, durability, performance, and power.”

The model also features the expected collection of TenPoint’s patented features: DFI™ (dry-fire inhibitor), 3.5-pound PowerTouch™ trigger, GripSafety™, GripGuard, and either their ACUdraw or ACUdraw 50 automated cocking system.
