Chiappa Releases 10-shot SAA Revolver


Dayton, Ohio, January 8, 2013: Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. is proud to announce the “1873 SAA 22-10” ten shot revolver chambered in .22 LR with a .22 Magnum convertible cylinder option. The first revolver offered by Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. in 2008 was the .22 caliber 1873 SAA which was the start of the Rimfire Replica series. The ten shot “1873 SAA 22-10” is the latest addition and is being offered with the Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. lineup of products for 2013.
The “1873 SAA 22-10” is a natural progression of the still popular six shot version which was the first handgun offered by Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. in 2008. This successful revolver was first distributed by Cimarron Firearms as the “Plinkerton” and later added by Legacy Sports International as the “Puma” SAA .22 revolvers along with other Chiappa Firearms distributors. The Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. “1873 SAA-22’s” share similar characteristics & size as the original SAA Revolvers of the 19th century made famous by Colt. With similar dimensions of the full sized SAA revolver, the Chiappa Firearms SAA revolvers balance well and find themselves right at home in your favorite western rig.
The new “1873 SAA 22-10″ features a steel cylinder & pawl assembly that insures years of reliability and plinking fun. The standard version is a 4 ¾” barreled revolver with black checkered plastic grips and traditional fixed sights. Additional barrel lengths are available which include 5 ½” & a 7 ½” barreled target version with adjustable sights. Grip choices include Ivory colored plastic and Walnut grips and will be available from Chiappa Firearms, Ltd. direct to outfit both the 10 shot & six shot versions.
