Successful Summer Leads to Full Fall Schedule for Youth Program
The U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance Foundation’s Trailblazer Adventure Program has continued its mission of introducing youth and families to our outdoor heritage after a successful Spring season with more than 83,000 attendees.
Hosting 91 events in the Spring alone, Trailblazer staff across the country had their hands full with exciting one-day programs held in 36 states. Through hands-on experience, the Trailblazer Adventure Program introduces youth and their families to outdoor sports such as target shooting, fishing, trapping and hunting ethics, archery, and much more!
The Trailblazer season is far from over with staff preparing for an upcoming Fall season filled with 97 events across the country. In 2013, the Trailblazer Adventure Program is expected to reach 230,000 youth and their families and hold events in 41 different states. Since 2001, the Trailblazer Adventure Program has reached 1.7 million participants in total and continues to grow year to year.
Events for the fall are scheduled for states ranging from Ohio to Washington and Michigan to California. Completely volunteer ran, the Trailblazer Adventure Program is always seeking and welcoming experienced sportsmen and women who may be interested in lending their time to teach our outdoor heritage to the next generation.
