MG Industries Now Shipping MARCK 15 in 7.62×39 Hydra Configuration

MGI 7.62×39 Configuration Allows Shooter to Use Standard AK-47 Magazines with No Modifications
OLD TOWN, ME – MG Industries, manufacturers of the MARCK 15 “Hydra” platform, a base system which the user can configure to any mission-specific rifle, announces that the well-known and respected 7.62×39 Hydra configuration in complete weapon system or as a conversion package is now shipping. The 7.62×39 Hydra configuration allows the shooter to use standard AK-47 magazines without modification. The complete weapon system comes in a standard pistol case.
This rifle features the complete modularity and interchangeability of the Hydra Modular Rifle System. The 7.62×39 Hydra weapon system comes standard with an MGI Enhanced AK firing system and barrel with a low profile gas block or an A2 type tower. The Enhanced AK firing system includes a firing pin and bolt that more closely mimics a true AK-47 firing system, giving much greater reliability while firing the 7.62×39 ammunition. Magazines eject from the mag well with one hand instead of two hands like typical AK-47 rifles by dropping straight down on release. This system can easily accommodate other calibers by simply changing the bolt, barrel and mag well without tools.
The suggested retail for the MGI AK-47 Hydra Modular Rifle is $1,299.00 and the 7.62×39 (AK) Conversion Package is $555.00. For more information, visit www.mgi-military.com or your local retailer.
