Daisy Debuts Youth Archery Line
Generations of new hunters and recreational shooters take their first shot with Daisy BB guns. So it makes sense for Daisy Outdoor Products to introduce a youth archery line.
“Having Daisy’s new longbow and crossbow at this convention is a great way for young people and JAKES program leaders to try these products,” said Joe Murfin, Daisy’s vice president of public relations. “We look forward to knowledgeable NWTF chapter leaders throughout the country teaching young people recreational shooting and archery shooting skills with our Daisy equipment.”
Products include a longbow and compound bow, recommended for youth age 10 and older with adult supervision, and crossbow recommended for youth age 16 and older with adult supervision.
Daisy has a long-standing partnership with the NWTF as the official airgun of the NWTF’s JAKES (Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship) Take Aim program. JAKES Take Aim trailers already are outfitted with a Daisy inflatable BB gun range and youth BB guns, and soon will have access to Daisy youth archery equipment.
Daisy’s support of the NWTF includes a recent donation of 50 inflatable BB gun ranges, each with a Daisy Model 74 youth semi-automatic BB repeater. Helping introduce young people to recreational shooting and archery supports NWTF’s Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative.
About Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt.
The NWTF Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt. initiative is a charge that mobilizes science, fundraising and devoted volunteers to give the NWTF more energy and purpose than ever. Through this national initiative, NWTF has committed to raising $1.2 billion to conserve or enhance more than 4 million acres of essential upland wildlife habitat, create at least 1.5 million hunters and open access to 500,000 acres for hunting, shooting and outdoor enjoyment. Without hunters, there will be no wildlife or habitat. The NWTF is determined to Save the Habitat. Save the Hunt.
