Vortex Optics Introduces the Razor HD AMG

From precision long-range shooting at paper and steel, to tactical applications, to maximizing effective range on open-landscape western hunts, the Razor HD AMG 6-24 x 50 is the ideal optic for an extremely wide range of long-range-shooting scenarios.

Cutting-edge engineering and modern precision-machining techniques allow the Razor HD AMG to achieve optical and physical specifications normally reserved for heavier scopes with larger tube diameters. At 28.8 ounces, it is the lightest weight, fully-featured, long-range tactical scope on the market—a major consideration for shooters who want to shave as much weight as possible, without sacrificing performance.

Turret system is essentially a miniaturized version of the highly successful L-Tec turret found on Vortex’s Razor HD Gen II series. Features an integrated pop up and down locking mechanism, ensuring the turret remains locked on your zero until you’re ready to make adjustments. Laser-etched marking references provide easily read elevation and windage adjustment graduations. Infinite setting positions allow zero to be set between clicks for optimal precision and accuracy. Zero stop provides a hard stop to assist accurate returns after dialing temporary elevation correction.

Lockable illumination dial is integrated into the side parallax/focus adjustment knob for easy access and streamlined performance. Features ten intensity levels of illumination with off positions between each setting.

Body of the scope is machined from a single solid block of aircraft-grade aluminum. Features a 30mm tube diameter to maximize its impressive 95 MOA/28 MRAD of elevation adjustment. Entire exterior of scope, including its mag-ring, eyepiece and turrets, are Type III hard-anodized for superior durability and scratch resistance. O-ring seals prevent moisture, dust and debris from penetrating the riflescope for reliable performance in all environments. Argon gas purging prevents internal fogging.

Optically, these scopes deliver unparalleled image quality. The APO (apochromatic) objective lens system uses index-matched lenses to correct color across the entire visual spectrum. HD (High Density) premium extra-low dispersion glass delivers the ultimate in resolution and color fidelity, resulting in High Definition images. XR Plus premium fully multicoated lenses increase light transmission for optimum brightness. ArmorTek® protects exterior lenses from scratches, oil and dirt.

The new first-focal-plane EBR-7 reticle is glass-etched, incredibly versatile, and ensures subtensions remain accurate throughout the zoom range.

Unique to this Vortex scope—it’s one hundred percent made-in-the USA. Every component, from the Type III hard-anodized mag ring, eyepiece, and turrets, to the smallest screw–even the index-matched lenses are made in the USA. Something unheard of in any current riflescope manufacturing. If you’re looking for a top-tier long-rang precision-shooting riflescope, look no further than the Razor HD AMG.
