With true 1x magnification for optimal situation awareness and expanded 8x magnification for longer target acquisition, the new 1-8x models feature two new reticle designs and the impressive M.A.D. knob system, making them the perfect solution for competitive shooters and tactical operators.The Modular Adjustment Dial (M.A.D.) System allows users to choose from competition-style exposed knobs or capped knobs on both windage and elevation adjustments in any combination they desire. This new design also allows for custom knobs to be added to the riflescope to perfectly match the trajectory of any ammunition. Zero Click Stop functionality is standard in the M.A.D. System, letting you quickly and easily revert back to the original zero setting without counting clicks.
The new Ballistic Circle Dot™ reticle is a versatile milradian reticle. Located in the Front Focal Plane, it incorporates an illuminated circle with small illuminated center dot for rapid target acquisition. Trajectory compensation is provided out to 600 yards to allow for engagement of targets at mid- and long-range distances.
The new Ballistic Dot™ reticle is a milradian reticle located in the Rear Focal Plane. Featuring a simple, daylight-bright illuminated center dot and trajectory compensation out to an impressive 1,000 yards, this reticle design takes full advantage of the new XTR II’s extended 8x magnification for long-range shots.
Like all XTR II riflescopes, the new 1-8x riflescopes are built to withstand extreme abuse. They’re equipped with high performance glass and Hi-Lume® multi-coated lenses for excellent brightness and clarity. A double internal spring tension system allows each scope to hold zero under shock, recoil, and vibrations, and the precision gauged and handfitted internal assemblies maintain a consistent point of impact through the entire magnification range.
