Milwaukee – Advanced Technology International® (ATI), a leading manufacturer of firearm accessories, has debuted a new five round stock shell carrier for their flagship TactLite stock.Wisconsin based ATI introduced the ultra-lightweight TactLite Stock in 2014 and soon transitioned the six-position stock across their entire rifle and shotgun product line. The new TactLite Stock Shell Carrier attaches to the stock’s adjustable cheek rest and holds five 12 gauge shotgun shells.
A brief conversation with National Sales Manager Amanda Mapes revealed that the most important design feature of the new shell carrier was that it still allowed for use and function of the TactLite Stock’s adjustable cheek rest.
The TactLite Stock Shell Carrier achieves this by mounting into the TactLite cheek rest’s existing mounting holes, and importantly can be mounted to either side of the stock making it ambidextrous.
The shell carrier is constructed of a military grade aluminum mounting bar and five synthetic shell holders.
Mapes later added that the shell holder weights only 2.3 ounces, but is extremely rigid and able to perform in all terrain and weather conditions.
