SULTAN, Wash. — Police say an 80-year-old woman fatally shot an intruder Thursday night who broke into her Sultan-area home and stabbed her husband.
The woman called 911 just after 8:30 p.m. to say she had just shot an intruder who had attacked her husband with a large knife, according to Shari Ireton with the Snohomish County sheriff’s office. More here…
