About the Author
Steve Sieberts is a firearms writer/editor with over 40 years of experience in the firearms field. He is a former small arms repair tech (45B) with the 82nd Airborne Division and 8th Infantry Division, and former member of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit’s Pistol Team. Steve has competed in IPSC pistol competitions across the country for decades, starting with the original Southwest Pistol League in the mid 1970s. He is a former NRA Certified Law Enforcement Instructor for pistol/shotgun, and has attended five gunsmithing schools, including the Colorado School of Trades, is certified at eight factory armorers’ schools, and attended two sniper schools.
