Browning Dark Ops Elite Trail Cameras – Excellence in a Sub-Micro Package
Birmingham, AL: For 2016, Browning Trail Cameras has taken their highly celebrated and versatile Dark Ops series camera and made it even better. For this year, the Dark Ops Elite HD trail cameras have had a number of new features added to improve the trail camera experience while continuing to be one of the most versatile and valuable cameras on the market. The first of these upgrades that you will notice is that their proprietary camouflage pattern has been enhanced by including elements of both branches and foliage to improve your ability to conceal the cameras. Then, the design team took already optimal trigger speeds and recovery times and made both of them even faster to take the performance level of these cameras even higher. So moving into 2016, these cameras will now have trigger speeds of four-tenths of a second and less than one-and-a-half second recovery times.
Outside of those improvements to traditional trail camera features, the team at Browning Trail Cameras also looked at practical improvements and developed new software packages that resulted in a new and improved SD card memory management feature and a “smart” video recording system. Specifically, the new SD card memory-management feature, when turned on, will allow the camera to continue saving the newest pictures and videos even when all of the memory has been used on an SD card. It accomplishes this by identifying the oldest videos and images and overwrites them with the most current images and videos. So if you are away for an extended period or make the mistake of forgetting to delete a card before putting it back in your camera, you will still be able to access the most current images and videos with this new feature.
And with the new “smart” video recording system, when it is turned on, as long as there is motion in front of the camera that triggers the motion sensors it will continue to record up to 5 minutes during daylight hours and up to 20 seconds at night. This new feature will keep you from missing a second of the action and will even give you a chance to try and self-film some of your hunts.
Because of industry defining features like true 720p HD video with sound, self-adjusting IR illumination, and a solid invisible flash component, these sub-micro cameras had already established themselves as great game cameras that could be equally as effective as a security camera, but with these new improvements these Dark Ops Elite HD trail cameras are destined to be a part of every “must have” list moving forward.
