Crimson Trace LiNQ Now Shipping
(Wilsonville, OR)– Crimson Trace is now shipping one of the shooting sports industry’s most anticipated innovations of 2016—the LiNQ wireless operating technology. LiNQ utilizes a replaceable control grip to activate and operate a forward—or remotely located—light and laser sight module. The two-piece LiNQ components are designed to equip and upgrade nearly all standard modern sporting rifles with M-1913 and Weaver-style rails and removeable and replaceable pistol grips. Among LiNQ’s advantages are: no wires to tangle or disconnect, no activation pads to search for, ease of operation, and simple to use controls. LiNQ also offers the ability to easily and quickly transfer the components to another firearm.“Crimson Trace continues to lead the laser sight industry, and LiNQ is a great example of our far-reaching innovation capabilities,” notes Lane Tobiassen, Crimson Trace President. “The cutting-edge LiNQ system provides the user with increased flexibility in selecting output modes, and customers and the industry are already asking for more options to be operated and controlled by the control grip.” LiNQ was introduced to the market in early 2016.
Crimson Trace is now fulfilling orders for LiNQ products. The patented LiNQ LNQ-100 features a replaceable firearm pistol grip that houses the component’s radio frequency control circuitry and operating battery. The grip, which is complete with anti-slip textured panels on each side, wirelessly communicates with the green laser sight and 300-lumen light module that can be positioned wherever the user wishes. The LiNQ system operates on common CR2 and CR123 Lithium batteries and is covered under the Crimson Trace Free Batteries for Life® program.
LiNQ provides a variety of operating options for the light and laser module:
*Light and laser together
*Laser only
*Light only (300-Lumen LED)
*Laser and strobing light
Crimson Trace’s patented Instinctive Activation™ laser system operation button is located on the front of the pistol grip.
The LiNQ control grip and modules have been rigorously tested in the laboratory and the field, and can be easily installed without special gunsmithing skills. The system fits onto most commercially sold, standard modern sporting platform rifles. The simple attachment process requires removing the current pistol grip on the rifle, installing the Crimson Trace replaceable LiNQ operating grip in its place, then inserting the securing screw. The module can be placed and secured anywhere on a rail system. The LiNQ wireless technology two-component package includes all necessary wrenches and batteries required for installation and operation.
The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price is $649 for the LiNQ 2-piece package. For additional details, or to order, visit www.crimsontrace.com or call 800-442-2406.
