Inceptor Ammunition Introduces 450 Bushmaster

SAVANNAH, Ga. –– Inceptor Ammunition is pleased to introduce a 450 Bushmaster offering to its ARX® Preferred Hunting product line. Built with Inceptor’s patented injection-molding process and design and proprietary copper-polymer materials, the new load gives hunters a powerful lead-free option in the unique cartridge. The new option will be available in early spring 2018.

Featuring the non-expanding Inceptor ARX projectile, Preferred Hunting ammunition is light, fast and has low recoil while retaining a flat trajectory. The projectile’s fluted shape ensures exceptional reliability and terminal performance while diminishing the possibility of over-penetration. By design, the ARX exploits the bullet’s forward energy and redirects that energy in the form of hydraulic displacement. The result is an unmatched wound cavity and knockdown power as compared with expanding projectiles.

“Our 450 Bushmaster offering is the fourth in a lineup of hard-hitting, non-expanding hunting ammunition from Inceptor,” said Inceptor Ammunition President Paul Lemke. “With no hollow-point or sharp edges on the nose of the bullet, the ARX projectile feeds like a round nose but has stopping power that outperforms expanding bullets. We’re proud to give hunters the next generation of precise and powerful non-lead ammunition.”
