The all-new FN SCAR® 20S is the latest addition to the battle-proven FN SCAR line-up and the first new SCAR introduction since 2010. This new rifle joins the ranks of the FN SCAR family as the commercial version of the FN MK 20 SSR, or sniper support rifle, currently fielded within USSOCOM. The 7.62 NATO-chambered rifle features a 20-inch, 1:12 twist, heavy profile barrel and barrel extension that achieve sub-MOA accuracy with match-grade ammunition consistently. The extended monolithic aluminum receiver allows users to add a high-powered optic, and mount bipods further forward providing much needed rigidity when shooting to distance.
Additionally, the custom-designed MK20 SSR buttstock adjusts to length of pull and comb height to customize the fit to each shooter while in the prone firing position, and the factory-installed, double-stage Geissele Super SCAR trigger achieves a 3.5-4.5-pound trigger pull.
