Bear Archery Presents Next Bow in Limited Edition Take-Down Bow Series
THE TAKE-DOWN BOW IS THE SECOND INSTALLMENT IN A 4-YEAR LIMITED EDITION SERIES FOR SERIOUS COLLECTORS AND HUNTERS ALIKE
EVANSVILLE, IN – With Fred Bear’s inspiration, Bear Archery proudly presents the Fred Bear Limited Edition Take-Down, the second in a series of four Limited Edition bows. The series celebrates its legendary heritage and pays homage to Fred Bear, company founder and the iconic father of modern archery.
Each bow is American-made and beautifully handcrafted to include a 60” bow “A” Riser, a handle made from Macassar ebony and #3 limbs made with unique African Bubinga veneers laminated under clear fiberglass. Each bow also comes with an exquisitely designed case numbered to match the bow. Both the riser and limbs are hand polished to a mirror finish highlighting the spectacular wood grain in the exotic woods used.
The handcrafting of the Fred Bear Limited Edition Take-Down is being overseen by Grant Neil Byce III, a second-generation Bear Archery bowyer. His father, Grant Neil Byce Jr., was Mr. Bear’s master bowyer and oversaw the Commemorative Series bows from 1999 to 2002. Now in 2019, Neil Byce III is following in his father’s footsteps and overseeing this Limited Edition bow series. Neil Byce III serves as Bear Archery’s Director of Operations and learned firsthand from both his father and Mr. Bear.
Only 250 of these very special Limited Edition models will be produced. Purchasers of the first-year bow earned the first right of refusal for the same number bows for this year and subsequent years. Shipping will begin May 1st, contact your local Bear Archery dealer to place an order.
