Pietta USA/EMF “R” Model
Pietta USA/EMF Introduces the Legendary “R” Model
(Santa Ana, CA), Pietta USA/EMF manufacturers of the finest historical and modern firearms, known for its craftsmanship, quality and dependability is proud to introduce the “R” Model as part of its Great Western II series of single-action pistols.
The “R” Model pays homage to the “Duke” himself and reflects the same pistol used by one of the “Duke’s” most famous characters, Rooster Cogburn. The “R” features a 4.75” barrel made from hammer-forged steel, traditional Colt-style hammer with floating firing pins (the traditional 4-clicks when hammer is pulled back) and contrasting colors, from the one-piece polymer grip to the “Old-West” finish on the frame and barrel. The “R” Model will be on display at the 2020 SHOT Show, Booth #16344.
Alessandro Pietta, CEO of Pietta USA/EMF said, “We spent a lot of time researching and developing the “R” Model in order to create a pistol that satisfies the needs of our customers who are demanding more and more from us each year. This product is the result of that dialogue.”
The “R” Model will start shipping first quarter of this year. It is available for pre-order now through Pietta USA/EMF. To place an order, email info@emf-company.com or call 800.430.1310 for orders and inquiries.

What a nice piece. I wish I had the fun money to grab one. My understanding is that Pietta makes a very well made gun. A nice set of wooden grips would really make it pop.
45LC ?
I would think 45 LC but I find no reference to caliber(s) available. Too new for Pietta’s website.
