Redmond, OR – Firearms manufacturer Radian Weapons has added yet another game changing product to their pistol component line: the GUARDIAN™ Optic Guard.
The first GUARDIAN™ model is compatible with GLOCK® MOS™ and TRIJICON® RMR®. Machined from 7075 aluminum and 17-4 stainless, the Radian GUARDIAN™ is a rock solid mounting system with unprecedented protection for your pistol optic.
TRU-SEAL™ uses o-rings that keep the plate watertight to the slide, sealing out moisture and preventing both corrosion in the mounting threads, and the need for a separate sealing plate. With a singular focal plane, the optional STEALTH™ backup sights integrate as an ‘Irons Forward’ design providing a clean, unobstructed sight picture through the red dot. The oversize Torx drive nuts complete the STUD-LOK™ interface with over twice the thread engagement of a standard threaded plate. As the nuts torque down into place, they pull the optic to the rear against the recoil bosses for a rigid mounting interface that is lighter than a factory-supplied plate. Because the mounting plate is locked to the rear, all stresses transfer through the plate into the slide, eliminating stress on the mounting screws.
