ALPS Mountaineering Announces Customizable First Aid Kit Solutions
ALPS Mountaineering, manufacturer of performance gear for wilderness adventures, exploration, and family camping, moves into the First Aid solutions category with the release of two new products designed for backcountry and day hikers—the First Aid Kit and the Personal First Aid Kit.
When you need medical attention in the wilderness, you need it NOW! This is why ALPS Mountaineering developed their First Aid kits to secure neatly to backpacks and daypacks. Both kits utilize elastic cords and toggles, which permit secure attachment to the outside of your pack, ensuring your medical supplies are always easily accessible.
Each kit is made of durable 200D double-ripstop nylon fabric and comes in a bright red color for rapid identification. They also feature reflective accents for enhanced visibility during low-light conditions.
Similar to other personal gear, first aid kits should be tailored to an individual’s or group’s needs based on the adventure.
That is why the ALPS First Aid kits were designed for the customer to pick and choose which First Aid supplies were needed for their particular outing. You shouldn’t pay for and carry unnecessary supplies just because they came in a kit.
The First Aid Kit (PN #7791103) measures 10 x 10 x 5.5 inches and has a 9L capacity. Weighing only 11 ounces. This kit features a customizable interior which provides the ability to organize your kit in a way that makes sense and is convenient for you to use. In addition, there are elastic loops for securing items like a pen, penlight, and scissors.
The smaller Personal First Aid Kit (PN #7791101) measures 3 x 10 inches. While it is also attachable to backpacks and daypacks, this kit comes equipped with webbing loops to carry it on a belt for casual hikes or short trips away from base camp. Integrated into the kit are magnetic closures for rapid access to the contents.
