Nightstick LGL-160 Earns NTOA Tested and Recommended Status

Nightstick, a global manufacturer of professional tactical LED lighting products is proud to announce our LGL-160 long gun light has earned Member Tested and Recommended status from the National Tactical Officers Association (NTOA). The 1100-lumen rifle light received an overall score of 4.07 on a scale of 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent).

A tester from Vermont commented, “The beam had a tight cone of light and a long light throw to clearly identify objects or persons at longer distances. Under recoil the light remained illuminated and did not have a flicker. The wire management clamp is a great feature providing the user a clean and streamlined system to manage remote pressure switch cables. I wouldn’t hesitate to place these weapon lights on our department rifles for everyday general use.”

Another tester from Tennessee concurred, “Very durable. Light mounts nice and close to the weapon. Ease of convenience in use. Was handled very roughly and performed as it should, every time. Highly recommended for tactical or patrol use.”

“The NTOA Member Tested and Recommended program is the best way to independently evaluate our products under real-world hard-use conditions. Officers and deputies from all over the country field-test our lights extensively in both interior and exterior scenarios that mimic what they experience on duty,” says Brian Whalen, Marketing Manager for Law Enforcement and Sporting Goods. “The NTOA seal of approval means the LGL-160 performs in the toughest conditions that law enforcement demands and continues to deliver, when life depends on light.”

Since 2003, NTOA members have tested more than 2,000 products in real world situations through the NTOA’s Member Tested and Recommended Program (MTRP). Results of these tests are shared with the law enforcement community in their magazine, The Tactical Edge, their online database, their eNewsletters and of course with the product manufacturers.
