The Burt Coyote Company, makers of the Lumenok, the brightest, most dependable lighted nocks on the market issues a PSA regarding Ravin and Excalibur lighted crossbow nocks.
Earlier this year Ravin Crossbows LLC, which is owned by Velocity Outdoor, ended their partnership with Lumenok, which was outsourcing the development of their lighted nocks and brought manufacturing in house. In doing so a different nock process has been implemented and as a result Lumenok has received a continuum of phone calls, emails and correspondence from customers thinking they are buying Lumenok built nocks for their Ravin crossbows when issues arise.
“We wish them the best in all of their endeavors as it’s unfortunate that we are no longer building the Ravin lighted nock”, said Lumenok President, Curt Price. We shall continue to develop options for all crossbow shooters in the market for the best lighted nocks available.
“The unfortunate part is we field phone calls on a regular basis and have to inform customers that we no longer supply Ravin or Excalibur and cannot service those products, nor does either product currently support battery replacement. Lumenok brand nocks will always have that option, ” stated Lumenok Co-Founder/VP Eric Price.
